Profitable Carrot Farming Guide  

Carrot farming is easy, profitable, and ideal for winter cultivation. It requires minimal investment and gives quick returns. 

Introduction 

– Best temperature: 15°C–25°C  – Cool climate is ideal  – Avoid extreme heat for better root development

Suitable Climate 

– Well-drained sandy loam soil  – pH level: 6.0–7.0  – Remove stones for straight root

Soil Requirements  

– Plough soil 2–3 times  – Make soil fine and loose  – Add organic compost before sowing 

Land Preparation  

– Use quality seeds  – Sowing time: October–December (India)  – Spacing: 30 cm between rows
