Cherry Cultivation: A Complete Guide to Sweet Success 

Cherries thrive in temperate climates. They require cold winters and mild summers. Temperature range: 0°C to 25°C is ideal. 

Ideal Climate  

Well-drained sandy loam soil works best. Soil pH should be between 6.0 and 7.5. Avoid waterlogged areas.

Sweet cherries: Bing, Stella Sour cherries: Montmorency Choose variety based on climate suitability.

Cherries are grown through grafting. Use healthy rootstocks for better yield. Plant certified disease-free saplings.

Best time: Late winter to early spring. Spacing: 15–20 feet between trees. Ensure proper sunlight exposure.
