Description
Technical Name: 2-Bromo-2-Nitro Propane-1, 3-Diol.
Mode of Action
An Immuno Modulator: Bactrinashak, when used as prophylactic treatment, reduces the susceptibility of plants to bacterial diseases by modifying the immune system of the plants. Bactrinashak alters the immune system of the plant by changing the contents of Phenols, Proteins, Nitrogen, and certain Enzymes, which can make the plants resistant to bacterial attack. Chlorophyll content is also increased.
Special Features
It is a Broad-Spectrum Systemic Bactericide, effectively controlling most of the bacterial diseases.
- It can be used both as a prophylactic and a curative spray. Being systemic, it translocates freely in the plant system.
- Bactericide: It is more effective when used as a prophylactic, but also acts as a curative and kills the bacteria.
- Bacteriostatic: It also prevents the growth and multiplication of bacteria.
Application
Use as a prophylactic spray before the appearance of the disease. It can be used at the initiation of bacterial disease. It is readily soluble in water. Mix 5 grams of Bactrinashak in 4 litres of water. Then, mix this solution in 15 15-litre spray tanks and spray. Use of Indtron AE 9 g per 15 litres as a tank mix will further improve results.
Compatibility
It is compatible with commonly used pesticides. No incompatibility has yet been reported. It is advisable to conduct a physical compatibility test before use in combination with other molecules.
Phytotoxicity
Phytotoxicity has not been reported, when used as recommended.
