India and South Africa will mutually benefit from each other’s scientific expertise.

In a significant development, India and South Africa convened the 5th Joint Working Group meeting on Agriculture, marking a key milestone in strengthening bilateral ties in the sector. Officials from both nations emphasised the importance of the meeting in promoting deeper cooperation across agriculture and related fields.

Both sides also explored ways to enhance collaboration between the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) and South Africa’s Agricultural Research Council (ARC), aiming to leverage scientific expertise for mutual benefit.
