ICAR-IARI Resumes Full Offline Classes; Campus Operations Restored!

The ICAR–Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI), New Delhi, has officially withdrawn its earlier notice dated March 25, 2026, which proposed a shift to online classes. You can find the previous news in the earlier notification given below.
Following a review, the institute promptly restored full campus operations the very next day. In a revised order issued on March 26, 2026, the Graduate School of ICAR–IARI confirmed that classes for all programs—Undergraduate, Master’s, and PhD—will continue in offline mode as per the regular academic schedule.
Additionally, all campus facilities, including hostels and mess services, remain fully functional and will continue to support students without interruption.

The Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI), New Delhi, has instructed undergraduate students, first-year Master’s students, and first-year PhD scholars to vacate the campus and transition to online classes starting April 6, 2026.
The directive applies to undergraduate students, first-year Master’s students, and first-year PhD scholars. These batches have been asked to continue their academic activities remotely until further notice.
According to the institute, the decision was taken in response to an ongoing energy crisis linked to the geopolitical tensions involving the United States, Israel, and Iran.
